Claudia Max will become Regional CEO of Allianz Benelux. The appointment will be effective as of January 1 subject to regulatory approvals.
Recognised for her exceptional track record in the insurance industry, Claudia Max joins Allianz from Zurich Group, where she was a member of the German Board of Management and Chief Underwriting Officer from 2022 until December 2024. In 2019, she became Managing Director for all overarching sales activities for Zurich Germany, following a successful career at McKinsey. At McKinsey, she most recently was a member of the leadership team of McKinsey's European Insurance and Asset management practice with a focus on developing and implementing strategic initiatives for Sales as well as for the Property & Casualty business segment.
She holds a master’s degree in law and accounting from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a doctorate from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany.
Kathleen Van den Eynde, currently Regional CEO of Allianz Benelux will continue as Board Member for Life, Health and Investments Benelux before retiring in May 2025.
